Washrooms in Europe

Why is it that restaurant owners in Europe are so stingy when it comes to things like their washrooms? Many put someone there who is "cleaning" the washroom, but really doesn't do anything but sit there, expecting 50 cents for washroom use. Some restaurants put a code lock on their washroom for keeping the public out....only paying customers have the right to use their facilities.....

That's one thing that's annoying about Europe - come on, just loosen up and be generous with your facilities!

So many truths on so many levels....

I think PhD students or people who have gone through the PhD process will attest to the truths of this brilliant comic strip....
